An annotated sample brief
This is a synthetic example, not a client engagement or a claim about a real business. It illustrates the structure we use to turn an observation into a testable proposal.
Observation
Example: a public contact page offers a general email address but does not explain what information a project inquiry should include. A real brief would record the exact URL, observation date and relevant evidence.
What already works
The email address gives visitors a direct contact route. A new form should preserve that option rather than assuming the existing path has failed. No conversion or response-time conclusion follows from this observation alone.
Proposed small sample
A short project form could ask for the business, contact route, request and relevant service. A preview would show a saved request and a founder review state using synthetic data. It would not send email or connect to a customer system.
Scope and question
Before building an integration, agree on the record owner, consent language, notification transport, failure recovery and acceptance checks. A useful question for the owner: which details are most often missing from the first conversation?
